The city's longest-running 5K, the Annual Schlotzsky's Bun Run hosts an average of 5,000 participants and raises an average of $50,000 for Austin Sunshine Camps, YMBL's program that sends at-risk and disadvantaged youths to summer camp to learn about leadership, team-building and trust. "We sincerely appreciate all the Bun Run and Austin Sunshine Camps support we've gotten from the community for over 25 years," said Steve Romaniello, president and CEO of FOCUS Brands Inc. and Schlotzsky's. "We think this year's t-shirt contest will give everyone another way to feel even more connected to the good works that come about thanks to the race.
"Not only that, but the long-sleeve t-shirt has reached pop culture status in Austin and the surrounding areas," continued Romaniello. "People wear them all year long, and thousands of participants have shirts dating back to the original race. What could be more fun than making your mark in Bun Run history and having your design become part of an Austin tradition?"

About Young Men's Business League
Founded in 1913, the Young Men's Business League of Austin (YMBL) is one of the oldest and most respected social service organizations in the city. It enables men to grow professionally by working with others toward a common mission: "To provide programs for deserving children in Austin and the surrounding area, which aid in their professional development and teach the skills necessary to succeed in school and in life. In short, we are a non-profit, non-political organization, dedicated to taking the risk out of Austin's at-risk youth." For more information, visit www.austinymbl.org.
About Austin Sunshine Camps
Established in 1928 by the Young Men's Business League of Austin (YMBL), the Austin Sunshine Camps (ASC) have been providing a safe and nurturing environment for the disadvantaged boys and girls of Central Texas for almost eighty years. Organizers work with the children in summer camps and year-long programs to develop the tools necessary to overcome the variety of difficulties they face in their day-to-day lives. The children are assailed on all fronts from challenges of poverty and family disintegration to the threats of drug and violence. ASC's ultimate goal is to eliminate the high school dropout rate among the at-risk youths they target, increase college participation by these same young men and women to help break the poverty cycle that so often circumscribes the life chances of this often-overlooked group.
